Why keyboard shortcuts?
The previous chapter has described mouse-focused procedures for creating, editing and sharing maps. This introductory overview cannot cover all the possibilities eminec MYmap has to offer; however, you can complete your tasks with the methods explained. In short: this is all you need to explore the entire system.
This chapter presents keyboard shortcuts, which allow you to perform the same actions. Even though eminec MYmap is very intuitive, getting to know these shortcuts takes some time. If you do not like keyboard shortcuts, you can skip this chapter without losing any of the features of eminec MYmap.
However, experienced users often consider keyboard commands as a highly efficient method to use the software. Switching between keyboard and mouse is often not necessary, and as you get used to the shortcuts, you can control the software without having to think about which key to press now. As eminec MYmap uses well-known keyboard shortcuts from other applications, you may benefit from them even more and reuse your knowledge.
So just go on and try it!
